As an employer with more than 250 employees, NWES Group is legally required to report annually on our Gender Pay Gap. This information must be made publicly available on our company website and submitted to the UK government in accordance with gender pay reporting regulations.
The Gender Pay Gap is the difference in average hourly earnings between men and women and is expressed as a percentage of men's pay. It does not measure equal pay for equal work, but rather highlights broader trends in pay across an organisation. As of 5 April 2025, our Gender Pay Gap statistics reflect the composition of our workforce and the distribution of roles across NWES Group.
According to the Office for National Statistics, the UK national average Gender Pay Gap as of April 2025 was 6.9%.
Quartile Pay Bands
The pay quartile analysis indicates that our gender pay gap is most pronounced in the lower quartiles. This is primarily driven by a significant imbalance in the proportion of men and women within these segments of the workforce.
However, the overall pay gap results show a positive shift, with the gap now beginning to reverse.
At NWES Group, we are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across all areas of our business. Our Equal Opportunities Policy was developed to reflect our clear and unwavering commitment to treating all employees fairly and without discrimination – regardless of gender or any other protected characteristic. This commitment is embedded in our recruitment practices, career development opportunities, and the way we reward and remunerate our staff.
