Holiday information can be found within the Agency Handbook and Contract.
Holiday Entitlement
Agency workers accrue holiday entitlement in line with the Working Time Regulations and the terms of their contract.
Holiday entitlement is accrued based on hours worked and must be taken as paid leave during the holiday year.
Holiday Year
The Agency holiday year runs from:
1st April to 31st March
Workers are encouraged to take their accrued holiday entitlement within the relevant holiday year wherever possible.
Carrying Over Holiday
Any accrued but unused holiday entitlement should be taken before the end of the holiday year where possible.
Holiday entitlement may be carried over until 30th April following the end of the holiday year.
Please note:
- Any carried-over holiday not used by 30th April may be lost.
- Holiday entitlement cannot normally be carried over beyond this date unless otherwise required by law.
Booking Holiday
To request holiday, please:
- Email: holidays@nwes.info
- Use the contact form below.
A member of our payroll team will contact you to confirm your holiday request.
Please do not assume holiday has been approved until confirmation has been received.
The Agency reserves the right to decline or rearrange holiday requests where necessary to meet business or client requirements.
Holiday Pay
Agency workers must request and book holiday in order to receive holiday pay for time away from work.
Holiday pay will only be paid for approved holiday requests using accrued holiday entitlement.
If time off is taken without booking holiday through the correct process, the absence may be unpaid.
Holiday pay is not included within hourly pay rates and is paid when approved holiday is taken.
Further Information
If you require any additional information regarding holiday entitlement, accrual, holiday pay, or booking procedures, please get in touch with the Agency team who will be happy to assist.
