This statement sets out the steps that NWES Group has undertaken, and is continuing to take, to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain. NWES Group is committed to conducting business in an ethical and honest manner and is committed to implementing and enforcing systems that ensure slavery or human trafficking is prevented. We are committed to creating effective strategies and controls to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or supply chain.
NWES Group is a family run company that operates across the UK, more locally the Northwest of England. Our main services consist of supplying agency workers, Trailer hire, Fleet repairs/maintenance and DVSA mot/compliance testing. Our customers range from fruit & vegetable suppliers, logistic operators and automotive manufactures.
As part of the company's due diligence process, we have the following systems in place:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
- Mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
- Monitor potential risk areas within our supply chains.
We have made our staff aware of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, including its definitions of slavery and human trafficking.
